He's not American either - he's from Wiltshire! Rolleyes

And Price/Sarah Caulfield are Irish - WTF??? Do they think that the English can't tell the difference between an Irish and an American accent?!?!

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

stil not half as bad as Brad Pitt trying to speak Irish... or almost any other American actor..
I could understand the actors' union hesitation about hiring from across the pond but surely it would lend a more authentic touch (since apparently we can't do without CIA involment Smile)

RE: Episode 8 Discussion
We are rather drifting from the topic. Try and keep it to episode 8 please. You can start an accents thread in the general discussion forum if you want.

I was thinking that since they were playing Who's Going To Blink First, Ros should have had Harry put the phone system back on and untie Price's hands so he could turn off the bomb.

Maybe he could only trigger the bomb but not turn it off, I don't know but that did go through my mind.

Also, Price didn't look as panicky as I thought someone would be, knowing what was about to happen. He just kept looking over at the bomb but not too much distress.

Rooftop scene:
Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away.
Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!"

Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas."

Lucas told Harry that the bomb disposal guys said it was too late to disarm the device. Somewhat questionable imo, but, hey, this is tv and we do need that "willing suspension of disbelief" thing.

RE: Episode 8 Discussion
That came up in another episode, can't remember exactly, when there had to be a minimum amount of time to disarm a bomb. I can't remember which one though... I hope I didn't just make that up Blush
