Maybe that orange suit is good for something then after all...

If the gun was loaded with hollow point ammunition, it wouldn't have hit that pod at all.
I agree about that blank though, blanks still hurt when shot at you at close range. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

RE: Episode 5 Discussion [rewatch]
Blanks can actually do a lot of damage at close range. They are stuffed with wadding (instead of gunpowder) which will leave a significant bruise if it hits you.

RE: Episode 5 Discussion [rewatch]
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who took issue with that whole sequence. It confused the hell out of me when I was writing Ruth's Diary. I think I eventually went with the idea of a warning shot because you don't actually *see* it, only hear it, so I played on the idea that it was fired into the ceiling or at a cupboard.

RE: Episode 5 Discussion [rewatch]
And considering all the other damage Malcolm and friends did to the grid, I don't think anyone would have noticed another hole in the ceiling !

RE: Episode 5 Discussion [rewatch]
The only problem with this idea, JHyde, is that Tom was clearly pointing that gun directly in front of him. You never got any sense, before hearing the sound of the shot, that he moved it an inch.

Well, exactly. Creative license! I'm just so glad this whole continuity thing wasn't simply in my head.

Ooh yeah I forgot to add instead of Ruth's voice this time was Christine's. I kinda like this haha makes you feel more involved in the ep and also makes the introduction part a little less pointles

RE: Episode 5 Discussion [rewatch]
I love this episode. I'm always on edge despite knowing the outcome. Loved Harry pretending to be crazy because of VX. Just another example of his amazing acting skills.
