TOTALLY BRILLIANT NEWS!!!!

The waiting is nearly over for you people in UK ... downunder we'll have to wait. But now we have a definate date for showing in UK, hopefully we won't have to wait too long.

Hi Margaret, unfortunatelty we don't have a definite date. It was supposed to be next week and we figured 29th October was the most logical date but the listings have come out for next week and its not advertised. For some reason the BBC have made a late change to the schedule whcih is very frustrating!

I've also emailed the RT a few minutes ago. This is getting on my nerves, especially as I'm in London from Nov 2 to Nov 10. I thought I might catch a few episodes live, but no. Sad

Fiona, thank you for letting me know that the on air date is still to be confirmed "officially"....

Why are the BBC tantalising everybody like this? They surely must realise that SO MANY people are anxiously awaiting this series. Maybe there have been technical difficulties? Comms down?

November now? That's so irritating!!!

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

I am starting to feel sorry for the Radio Times now. It does sound as though it is not their fault, they can only go on what the schedulers at the BBC tell them. A case of left hand not knowing what the right is doing ?

OMG!!! This is incredibly annoying!!! Sth must have happened because it isn't normal that some magazines annouced the series 8 for nest week and now.... NOTHING!! I don't know whether is kudos fault or BBC but... they should think ablout us, the audience, they shouldn't play with us this way Angry

This isnt my thought, but I have seen comments on other web sites, do you think this delay has been caused by the fighting in
Spoiler: show
Pakistan
that started last week?
Spoiler: show
The Daily Express article that was posted at the weekend said the new series is about Pakistan
Perhaps the BBC thought they had to pull the series because they could have had complaints? This may explain their silence as well?

If that's the problem, it could take a lot of time before spooks is coming back Sad

If memory serves me correctly, the Spooks episode about bombings in London was put out as scheduled but with a note put on screen beforehand explaining the coincidence.. etc etc..

Or was it pushed back? I can't remember...

Either way, the BBC are really p***ing me off now. They are soo scared of offending people... beyond normal reason.

The thing is that they could explain it somehow, still, I think people don't get offended for this... I mean, we can tell fiction from reality...
