Raza Jaffrey
My Broadway friends were all a-twitter about this in FB because they hope it means more work - I hope it does for them too. I ignored it, because, well, its not my thing, but Mr AC noticed that Raza Jaffrey was in it. He plays Katherine McPhee's boyfriend in the new TV show called "Smash." Jack Davenport and Angelica Houston are in it too. I might have to watch it for the cast alone.
Lets see if I can get through this with out gagging , but its about the making of a Broadway musical about Marilyn Monroe. If you like Glee, you might like this. I know I can't post video here from any other source than youtube, but it's out there at NBC.com/smash/video. Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |

RE: Raza Jaffrey
It's called "Smash?"
I got about 3/4 way through the clip. Loads of famous/semi famous people in this though. That guy from "This Life" and that woman from "Will & Grace." Not sure about Raza with an American accent though Thanks for posting A Cousin. |

To each their own. I am sincerely glad to see Raza gainfully employed, though. (17-05-2011 08:44 PM)Tea Lady Wrote: It's called "Smash?" Yeah - unfortunate title. "Smash" as in "A smash hit!" or "It's a smash!" and not Smash Mouth or Smashing Pumpkins. Its the kind of NY Times review blurb you find plastered on marquees all across B'way. Just take turn around 45th street when you get here! (17-05-2011 08:44 PM)Tea Lady Wrote: Not sure about Raza with an American accent though Now, now, TL, you are teasing me! As long as it's a good one. Is that so wrong? Seriously though, I can't bring myself to watch the clip again, but I thought I heard his actual accent? Now cracks a noble heart. Go on go on A Cousin. You know you want to watch it again. I am sure I heard an American twang there. Raza's doing his "Boston Beauty" thing
I do hope my hotel will be showing it though |
