The Shield was one of the best shows ever with one of the best endings ever.

I haven't watch the shield (another series for my list?), but one of my favourite series endings was Life on Mars

I've always wanted to watch The Shield but haven't got around to it. It barely made it onto Australian TV screens this year.

A show I'm re-watching right now which has had a big impact on my writing is Six Feet Under. I have mixed feelings about Alan Ball as a writer (sometimes I think he makes his characters unlikeable to bickering just for the hell of it) but the premise of the show never got old, and I do think it's the best cast show I've ever seen.

Yeah. You might like the Shield then if you like the ending of Life on Mars. It's a similar type thing only more ironic.

The only episode of Six Feet Under I watched was the last one. I think I would have enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of Northern Exposure in a lot of ways, but mostly the gallows humor.
