I like Touchwood as well. What did you think of the last episode ? The one with the children, whatever it was called. Can't believe that Captain Jack just left like that !

Torchwood? It was seriously depressing - it had my family (well, me anyway ) in tears!
DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered. |

The Shield was one of the best shows ever with one of the best endings ever.

RE: What other TV do you watch?
I've always wanted to watch The Shield but haven't got around to it. It barely made it onto Australian TV screens this year.
A show I'm re-watching right now which has had a big impact on my writing is Six Feet Under. I have mixed feelings about Alan Ball as a writer (sometimes I think he makes his characters unlikeable to bickering just for the hell of it) but the premise of the show never got old, and I do think it's the best cast show I've ever seen. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

You might like the Shield then if you like the ending of Life on Mars. It's a similar type thing only more ironic. The only episode of Six Feet Under I watched was the last one. I think I would have enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of Northern Exposure in a lot of ways, but mostly the gallows humor.
