newbie - scouseblondie - 28-09-2010 09:41 PM Hey everyone , believe it or not i have never watched spooks but after a recommendation by someone i think it could be right up my street. As the new series has just started do you think i will be able to start watching now and follow? or would i have to watch the previous series to know what is going on ? Thanks guys RE: newbie - bertowud - 28-09-2010 11:41 PM Welcome to the forum! I think you'd be better off going back from the beginning, but you should be able to pick it up with the current series. RE: newbie - tyme4t - 29-09-2010 01:28 AM Welcome to SF! Jump right in wherever you can...I don't think you'll be disappointed! RE: newbie - Skully - 29-09-2010 01:51 AM Welcome to the forum! I think it helps to have seen previous series, but as tyme4t says, jumping in at anytime will be rewarding! RE: newbie - Silktie - 29-09-2010 05:46 AM Hi and welcome! RE: newbie - Aria - 29-09-2010 06:45 AM Hello and welcome to SF RE: newbie - JHyde - 29-09-2010 08:28 AM Welcome to the madhouse! RE: newbie - Nitrus - 29-09-2010 10:14 AM I think to be up to speed for this series, starting at series 5/6 and going from there will give you most of the backstory and cross-series arcs. Welcome too btw. RE: newbie - lwhite53 - 29-09-2010 01:40 PM Hi and welcome. RE: newbie - Beatriz - 29-09-2010 04:49 PM Welcome to the forum, scouseblondie! I always like to watch a series from the very beginning just in case I miss something important, I like to see the evolution of the characters. But that's me, and in Spooks maybe it's not so important... I will recomend to watch some previous series, at least starting at series 7. |
