BBC Trust Review (Please read!!!) - almh - 21-10-2009 01:16 PM
The BBC trust are currently reviewing, well, itself, and if you go on the BBC website you can see this. It means that the general public can answer questions about its programs, and does have a specific question about drama programs, what's good on the BBC (ie SPOOKS!!!) etc. So I was wondering if more people wanted to go fill out the form and basically just be constantly like "Spooks is amazing, the best thing on the BBC," etc, so that (hopefully!) Spooks will be commissioned for another series, and maybe even get more funding by the BBC because it's obviously so loved! I've also had a rant about the Spooks start date to see if it gets noticed.
It doesn't require anything like your email or home address, so strictly confidential. I don't know if anyone outside the UK can do this, but feel free to have a try!!!
It's open until the 18th December, so still got some time left to do it. The address is below:

Nice one Almh. Yes have filled it in although im not quite sure why the BBC needs to know whether I have a disability and what ethnicity I am to be able to comment on the BBC !!

Thought I would include this in this thread, on tonight's national BBC 6pm news there was a short clip of Spooks. The story was about the pay cuts announced today for senior managment at the BBC. At the end of the story they showed a clip of Ros being filmed in a tower block and said the BBC were hoping that by doing these cuts now, they could continue to make high quality drama's such as Spooks. I felt very encouraged by this little clip and that the BBC do value this show. Perhaps a series 9 then BBC??

Wahey, yay! They obviously know how much Spooks is loved (but we'll just have to keep telling them anyway to make sure they don't drop it)
They used the clips shown in a previous thing on the BBC news, a couple of months ago. I think they're appealing to all the reasonable BBC viewers by showing what could happen to Spooks if they don't be nice to them :O

I'm sceptical about whether anything said in this review will change anything.
I very much get the impression that the BBC only do this to fill a criteria...
