I am sitting here sewing buttons on my coat and I do believe I have just heard Richard Armitage on the radio. I think he is doing the BBC radio voice over for the Winter Olympics advert. Is the BBC trying to put a spark into their coverage of some people playing in the snow!

you heard right Big Grin
and here you find the clips to prove it, BBC radio & telly... must say though that not even RA could make me watch ski jumping Wink .. I'd gladly listen to the adverts tho.. all day.
looks as if BBC have finally realised what they've got in him..

More JA news! Jenny Agutter has signed on for a tiny part in Burke and Hare, which is being directed by John Landis. Of course, she has worked with Landis before on An American Werewolf in London.

I am so excited about this movie. I'm disappointed Tennant won't be in it (I thought it would be a great film for him to do after his past roles, a real change) but Andy Serkis is more than an adequate replacement. Lots of great people on this film from an iconic director who's been missed. This may the film I am most excited about this year.

She did some acting with Simon Pegg recently.

That's the film I'm talking about.

You can read an interview with MM talking about it in here.

Beatriz, I have booked tickets for this for the 4 March. I am on row D of the stalls so should get a good view. It took all my powers of persuasion to get hubby to go. I will let you know what it is like. Smile

I so spaced out on why Tobias Menzies looked familiar, until I clicked on the link YFM posted, then I looked up on IMDB and saw Casino Royale. Good jump from gadgeteer for MI6 to HS Smile

Burke & Hare looks to be well cast, and with Landis, it should be quite good. Will definitely have to catch it.

Slightly off topic, but Pegg is part of the other film I am thrilled about, Paul. It has every underappreciated actor going.

B&H will be awesome. Or it had better be.

Definitely Tea Lady - a review is mandatory! Also very keen to hear from Musey after she sees Hedda Gabler in a week or two.

Yes this episode was on this evening. The funny thing was, not only was Robert Glenister in it, Anna Chancellor (Juliet) was his lawyer! She still looked great. Played it very "Juliet" like.

Anyway, I think this may have been the last episode of Law & Order UK as there was an advert at the end for "Married, Single, Other" which is on next week at 9pm, Monday, ITV. This has got Miranda Raison (Jo) in it. It looks a bit fluff but it may be worth a gander.
