Please please don't let the confrontation that will change the section forever mean Harry is in Danger. He is the only character who's loss would change things so much. I love Lucas but losing Harry would not be an option. I don't think I could watch without him being in it xxxx

Lucas kills Harry and Dmitri and Beth take after Lucas kill him, but Lucas jumps off a building instead.

My imagination is running wild right now.

In the past when someone has died we didn't have much of a hint it was going to happen, certainly not a preview synopsis saying that their life is going to be in danger. Just way too obvious IMO. Hope I am right. Also, Harry would be in bits and how on earth would he be able to function in the last episode. Whos going to do all the working out in the last episode unless Malcolm is back full-time?

Remember in S7 when Connie was revealed as the traitor in Ep7 and then they had some sorting out to do in Ep8?

with of course some other glitch at the end as the cliffhanger?

Another awful possiblity is

that the commissioning of Series10 that has been announced by the BBC is a big ruse and that the final surprise that Spooks springs on us is that this in indeed the end of them all!

what if the change to Section D, is just that there is no Lucas North anymore? He will just be known by his real name John **** going forward? The showdown could also be staged. For the benefit of Vaughn and the Chinese.

There is no point having a series 10 if Harry isn't in it. Hence they will not kill Harry off, no matter what we see at the end of this series. They will also not be able to explain Harry carrying on in his post, if Ruth dies, after his breakdown over Ros' death. Hence Ruth must survive into the 10th series.

I think I read somewhere the possibility that they filmed two endings to Series 9? In the same interview where PF said about blood on his costume. Sorry can't remember where I read this. I think the fact the BBC have commissioned series 10 means that Harry or Ruth will not be written out, as Kudos would really be killing the goose that laid the golden egg if they did. Fingers & toes crossed while eating big slice of coffee cake!!

There is NO spooks without Harry and PF has said he will be there till end...and I really don't think they will kill off Ruth, however I really believ they will make us sweat, they will leave us thinking Ruth's life is hanging in the balance...just think of all the forum chatter and fanfiction!!..not to mention the viewing figures for episode 1 series 10!

What if the change to section D is that it blows up? Then it would have to have a refit. Perhaps the Chinese who are after Lucas blow it up but Harry & Lucas live (clutching at straws I know)

I think the Chinese are linked to the Vaughan situation. But what an episode! And it's only Episode 7!
