Posted over on the other Spooks forum from the person with the writsbands idea:

OK Everyone Kudos legal department came back with a final answer. Nothing [Spooks], Character Full Names, or Quotes from the show.

There is a demand for Spooks stuff. T shirts etc would be great. I can think of some great quotes I would like on a t shirt ! Why don't Kudos come up with somethings and make them available for all us fans.

I wonder as well why Kudos never made any Spooks stuff available for fans... I mean Spooks are popular world wide so it should be a positive thing to do.

OK So we need a final count of who wants what wristband and which one you'd like Smile
So let me know on here so I can pass on the info... or contact jadewhite1 (Jodie) on twitter and let her know Smile
Remember they are free so... just need to know the final number or each kind of wristband Smile xx

I'd like a 'Harry and Ruth Get It On' wristband Blush please

I'd be interested in a WWHD band.

I really don't get Kudos...they have missed out on soooo much money from merchandising... Didn't they learn a thing from Paramount and Star Trek?? Fools.

Okies people!
If you're on Twitter go and follow jadewhite1 (Was just asked by her to post on here since she's not on this forum and search for her and you'll find herWink)
Asked to be followed back, send her a tweet saying which wrist band you'd like
(You'll probably be asked to DM over your address so she can send them too you Smile)
She's in the US so could take a while Smile

Remember also they are free so you won't have to pay anything obviously

Answers also needed by Friday so we can count how many of each people want, so if you want one...Say by then!
You can have more than one design by the way Wink

Ahh I don't understand it either! Spooks is one of the most popular shows yet there's hardly any Merch for it! Sad

Question: Does KUDOs have merchandising for any of their productions? Life on Mars? Ashes to Ashes? Other than DVDs, of course.

RE: Spooks Memorabilia Creation - Nitrus - 14-06-2011 04:45 PM

IF Kudos did merch, they would probably end up losing money. Fact.

I don't think they do Wink
But Nitrus is right, they would probably end up losing money, not making it Wink
I think TL had a Spooks mug made Wink Other than that it's just DVD's and Books mainly that are sold

RE: Spooks Memorabilia Creation - A Cousin - 14-06-2011 08:11 PM

That was the point I was gently moving towards. Merchandise for any of their dramas doesn't seem to be what they do. It isn't worth the investment. The marketing base for it would be too small. I wonder if even the books were worth the investment? I will never know but I am glad they did them.

Besides, look at these lovely people who are making the stuff themselves? Cheers, y'all!
