At the end of series 7 Malcolm shakes hands with Harry just before he goes to meet the FSB guy Victor, did Malcolm use the nano technology in a ring, liked they used to trace Mohammed Khorad (?). They could then track Harry using microwave bursts.
Just a thought.

I like that idea Smile

Thanks, it was just an idea. The story lines are never what I think they will be.

A brilliant idea though - I'm certain that
Spoiler: show
Malcolm will have used some of the latest gadgetry, 'borrowed' from the Americans, and planted it somehow on Harry.

I love the way Malcolm always seem to have something he shouldn't ! Maybe you're right, if anyone can find Harry in episode 1 it has got to be Malcolm.

Did anyone else think that was a bit odd?
Spoiler: show
That a sniper only slightly wounded Lucas?
Surely the point of a sniper is to kill someone i.e. go for the head or the heart. He was a rubbish sniper then.

I am sure I have read somewhere else on this site that Malcolm could be a mole? That he took ages to contact Harry? I cant remember the last episode in all that detail but I dont think I reached that conclusion when I watched it. Surely you would not have
Spoiler: show
two moles? Malcolm and Connie (hiss) ??
If you did you would close down the unit wouldnt you, with so many leaks? I was wondering what other people thought of Malcolm?

No, please, Malcolm can't be a mole. Angry I think the writers played with the emotions of the audience, and so did the actors.

Lucas was moving quickly, and there were lots of people around, thank goodness. And, yes, the sniper was rubbish too, LOL.

Yes, but perhaps they were trying to make it look like they were trying to kill him. A good sniper would also know where to hit someone to just give them a flesh wound !!

On the subject of Malcolm:

I think that moment Harry and Malcolm share at the end of season 7 was really just a moment for the characters and the fans to enjoy. Neil Cross and Ben Jenkins (who wrote the episode) are both big fans of the Harry/Malcolm dynamic, and how when no-one else is around it's more like they're equals and just making conversation. They've both said on several occasions that these two men and the trust they share is the lynchpin of the show, and I'm sure that's something we can get on board with.
