Adore the character of Malcolm but also like Tariq - although I'll admit to being shallow and a lot of it is because he's very cute
There's room for both in the show and I would love to see MWJ return at some point and see how the pair of them get on.

Yes Flip: I agree that there would be room for both Malcolm and Tariq in the show. I loved Malcolm's brilliance with computers and gadgets, as well as his particularly gentlemanly demeanour. Malcolm's kindness and understanding of Ruth was so caring, I thought. I would love it if Malcolm could return, even for just one program, as a sort of 'guest' appearance. Maybe Malcolm will become bored with his retirement -- well there is always that hope.

Yeah, I too am upset about Malcolm leaving. I love the idea of an older IT genius running circles around the younger crowd. Plus as others have stated he is so much more educated in a more rounded way than most in the field.
