I loved the Book, for the start of the Ruth and Harry relationship "I didn't know I paced, Ruth", "Yes, but in a good way".. bless em, and Harry's Mutley laugh at the end when he's teasing Ruth. I wish we could see more of them teasing each other again..

Whenever I have a spare hour or so and decide to watch a random episode, I always always always seem to pick one with a death of a main character in it lol I think I have issues

If you are referring to the greatest character of all time then I do watch 8.8 quite a lot

I feel a little Valentine sig coming on.. and I have to admit that I disproportionately often watch 8.8. too.. although probably for slightly different reasons
other than that, 7.2 and 8.4 (for rather obvious reasons
) Until Ive watched (and re-watched) 1-5, 7 and 8 contain my favourite eps (o/c).. though I'm not sure they're necessarily the best..

I'm with you Tyger, I have watched the earlier episodes twice now, and series 7 and 8 are the best ! Although there was more character development in earlier series. Best episode.......8.4, but loved 7.2 and 8.7 as well.

i'm with kirmstar on this subject :7.7, 7.8 and 8.4 - but also 7.1 when lucas appears for the first time, but also lost adam. my heart broke at the end of 7.8 when he finally broke:the first perso he wanted to talk to was harry; and that's when we found out harry was missing NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lucas's back story is very strong and defines him xxx

One episode that I really like but hasn't been mentioned was the one with Peter Sulter. I think it was 1.4? Its not my favorite episode but I just wanted to put it out here. Anyway, I found Peter deeply moving and I think that the episode was significant to Tom's storyline.

That was my fave episode of the first series, fanofChristine. Anthony Head is such a great actor and one of the best guest stars in the show's run. Nice choice.

My overall favourite is 2.5 (I Spy Apocalypse)- so much tension...Brilliant. I love the way Tom says "Salmon mousse."
My list of course could go on & on & on...
