I am torn between Meynell for the way he made Ros feel. Ros is hard but not that hard. She hated herself for having to do that.
And, Viktor Sarkisian. I hate Viktor for trying to kill Harry which in turn resulted in what happened in series 8.
I am one of those people that never really took to Ben either. I wouldnt say I disliked him, just that he bored me.

I particularly disliked Sands (can't remember his first name) from 7.6. He was the rogue MI6 agent that tried to kill Dean because he had seen the immobilizer used. I disliked him because you couldn't tell just whose side he was on. And then to kill Dean at the end was unnecessary and heartless.

Yeah, Sands was a pretty nasty piece of work. I really liked this episode. His "stuff of legend" line to Ros was pretty naff - but her response was brilliant! Sad to see Dean killed, but I guess it would be unrealistic if the good guys always won.

Yeah I love season 7. This episode I remember was reviewed in Australian press as one of the weaker episodes (it still got a massive thumbs up), but I've always found it moving, even though you knew where it was going early on because of the choice of shots, particularly of the mother.

Weaker? Hmm I thought the one with Alexis was the weakest in season 7. I really liked the dynamic between Dean and Lucas, through that we got to learn a bit more about Lucas... plus, I think it's important for Spooks to do "small stories" and not the high stakes for the nation stuff all the time.

Alexis Meynell was totally creepy and unnerving.... i felt so sorry for ros. as she said later she and jo had to work so much harder than the guys.
connie may have been a traitor, murdered ben and 'betrayed' lucas.... but I was named after Gemma Jones - so she's kinda hero of mine xx

Charles Grady (Harry interrogator in 7.7), Qualtrough, Sands (actually for me Dean killing was the most shocking one)...
