RE: What other TV do you watch? (2) - bumble_berry - 15-11-2011 04:05 PM Hmm, I used to watch (When they were broadcast or I have stopped watching) Waking the Dead Green Wing The Tudors The Smoking Room Casualty (I last watched it in 2007 I think) Bad Girls Hotel Babylon Messiah There isn't much on TV that I watch these days, but the main shows I am into are: Fresh Meat 8 Out of 10 Cats Mock the Week Ringer Top Gear Anything that is related to true crime Outnumbered QI (A guilty pleasure) RE: What other TV do you watch? (2) - silverskater - 15-11-2011 04:25 PM I'm working my way through S2 of Deadwood and who should pop up as a 'Madam' in an upmarket whorehouse but Elena. She's not a redhead this time and her face seems to be more mobile but, she is not wearing a lot of make up so maybe that makes the difference. RE: What other TV do you watch? Too much for my liking... Let's see what they do in series 3. RE: What other TV do you watch? (2) - Naivety - 15-11-2011 08:13 PM This series of Downton wasn't as good as the first one. I even got annoyed with Brendan Coyle's character, Bates, and I love Brendan Coyle. At the moment I am enjoying Garrow's Law (so glad to see that back), and Frozen Planet. Oh, and The Jury was very good. RE: What other TV do you watch? (2) - Beatriz - 16-11-2011 03:52 PM Anyone watching Misfits??? I've read that there are 4 episodes of this 3rd series, the first one has been numbered 3.00, is it a special or is it a normal episode?? RE: What other TV do you watch? (2) - Belle - 17-11-2011 02:55 PM For the moment, me and my hubby are re-watching The X-files (the whole 9 seasons), though I must admit that the first time we watched it (10 years ago!- seems I'm getting old ) we lost our focus somewhere in S8. RE: What other TV do you watch? (2) - pennyfeather - 20-11-2011 10:50 PM Yea I remember my X-files craze in my first year of uni. Season 8 and 9 just felt wrong: Mulder wasn't there! You just can't have X-files without mulder and scully. I would've preferred that they just stopped the show. Of course if they had I probably would've complained that they did. Still, a shame that such an amazing series went out rather badly. And with a terrible film a few years later to boot. The first one was brilliant. RE: What other TV do you watch? (2) - JHyde - 21-11-2011 08:16 AM A lot of people were dissatisfied with Downton take two, Ayelet Waldman being one of the most vocal and famous. Personally I have mixed feelings about Julian Fellowes, I think he rips off better and more original writers. Will be interesting to see how the new season fares in Australia and the US. RE: What other TV do you watch? (2) - Silktie - 25-01-2012 04:47 PM The final season of Waking the Dead is currently showing over here. I'm enjoying it, but have a question: Didn't Grace have cancer in the previous season? There was no mention of it thus far in the latest season - was this also the case in the UK or did we get a version with some scenes cut? RE: What other TV do you watch? I'm enjoying it, but have a question: She did indeed have cancer, yet they just seemed to fail on following it up, which is really annoying with the first two parter of series 9 having Cancer as a focus to the storyline. |
