I think the pigeons are props and the chap bending down is specifically placing them for the shot
Harry does take Ruth on some cheap dates. Pigeon feeding in St James!!

Thanks for posting! Def R&H and both look dressed in work attire, so in Ep3, HArry hasn't been sacked and Ruth is still talking to him. Plus, it's in the open so no secret meeting. Pleased to see that S10 with give R&H something, whatever that may be!

They are very hard to cast so I hear. Their hospitality demands are outrageous! Perhaps with the cut backs in funding for the Security Services are forced to send messages by carrier pigeon? If that guy is placing the birds, what a job title that is: Pigeon Wrangler. Now that's something unusual for the CV! It still looks to me as if he is leaning over something placed on his knee. I assumed a camera. Maybe its bird-feed.
I remember a shot from S1 (I think - very early on in any case) that was a slo-mo shot of pigeons taking flight from the ground. It was a great shot.
Julian Holmes is listed at IMDb as the Director on 10.3. I wonder if he is in the pics anywhere? Anyone know?

Nope, I can't see Julian Holmes anywhere in those pics, unless it's him wrestling the pigeons...
So we'll get at least one Harry/Ruth bench scene in season 10. Cool.

Maybe Goldrush or Picard may be best placed to answer this question but does anyone think there is a hell of a lot of crew there for what appears to be a simple bench scene? Is this normal for a non action scene? Or what we are assuming is a non action scene as this of course is only a snapshot. Remember the golf club shooting photos last year? There seems even more crew here than that days shooting?
