I doubt that the first link had any extra info on the topic than we do. I read on a bit and they even said that a 4th TW series hadn't been confirmed yet whilst we know John B said it was happening. (I know this isn't official BBC conf but we haven't had that for spooks yet and the article says we have Confused)

I don't like the way that people keep speculating the end of shows. It's been the same for the lat few years and i really don't know what's going on anymore. Just keeping my fingers tightly crossed.

As for the second one... (Like you said) pfffft the mail! Tongue

I must admit I have been thinking along those lines. Already season 8 wasn't as strong as 7 (the way I see it anyways) and we've all been throwing around ideas as to which villains to battle next and what storylines we'd like to see..and while I can see enough material for one more season.. I'd rather see the show end on a high, to be remembered for how good it was, rather than being pitied as a "has-been"..

Again, all just speculation and even if they axe it, we'll most likely have another 8 episodes to get used to the thought Wink

I hope that they can just fit in another season, and let us know before the season starts that it's ending, just because then it gets us prepared (yes I do need time to get prepared for Spooks leaving) and also it increases the tension because anything could happen - everyone is leaving anyway, so anyone really could die at any point... asides from Harry and Ruth. Who are going to have their happy ending, whatever happens Kudos, you got that? Tongue
