That was only because she mentioned wanting to get clean. They are both looking for the same thing. I am not sure he didn't jump too quick in hiring her....

not sure what to make of beth i find it odd that harry remembers her though - i want to know why she wasnt accepted before!

I think she was accepted, wasn't she? She just chose a different path after training and left to work in the private sector.

IIRC she passed all the tests but the reviewers didn't like her teamwork attitude.

Big episode for Beth in 9.2. I liked having her back story though I thought it was a bit predictable. When she mentioned going to South America in 9.1, I knew it was going to be drugs or arms. Still, Beth is based on a real person so the truth lay in the obvious sometimes.
I loved her line about going to South America to piss her father off! The scene with the gun in her face was very well done by SM - terrified yet still cocky. Her instincts to play dead in the lift were excellent. She has a helluva poker-face and she sure does know a lot of "spy tricks." I like seeing that stuff.
What did you make of Beth in 9.2?
