Don't care what anyone else says but if there's any character frisson it's between Ros and the Home Secretary. I'm a bit annoyed with the HS in ep.3 so I hope he redeems himself in ep.4 if he's in it.

I like that he's never a hero or a sinner completely - there's always a new story to swing it the other way. He's helped them and he's hurt them, but ultimately there could be worse people in his chair.

I'm glad they've ramped up RG's role in series 8. After all, the Home Sec does have day to day influence on operational decisions.

a bit of a wuss in 8.3. He's a Minister in her Majesty's government, for Pete's sake, he should not allow the local CIA chief to yell at him and threaten him like that.
That said, I'm really enjoying the interaction between the HS and Harry in season 8. There's a mutual respect there which is nice to see.
