yeah its just i cant remember seeing Adam or Tom ever going to see the HS. I know Harry took Ros there once to see him.

Adam has definitely met the HS at some point.. it might not have been the current HS though..

This is Ian Wylie's updated blog on an interview with Richard Armitage, containing some spoilers.

Spoiler: show
That revealing photo of Harry and Ruth is startling similar to something I'd imagined. But I was going to have them back to back, fingers touching.

Frick. My imagination is far too active.

And I agree - Genevieve O'Reilly is a fantastic actress. But this interview really make me anxious in that this sounds eerily like Tom/Christine which was my least favourite storyline in the entire show.

Adam definitely had dealings with the HS. The first time we meet Nicholas Blake in 5.1/5.2 Adam is also present in many of the meetings.

I'm with JHyde on
Spoiler: show
the Lucas/CIA chick storyline. I really hated the Christine/Tom one, and fear I will feel the same about this one. The main thing for me is, in the real world of spies having an affair with a member of another service is probably the biggest no-no of all. So there is no way that Harry and the powers that be should allow it.

RE: Ian Wylie's blog about S8 Ep1 - Lucasfan - 30-10-2009 02:29 PM

Spoiler: show
According to the backstory, it's been a lengthy spell without for Lucas, so perhaps he's due some personal time Wink....

I think if I understood correctly from other interviews, that neither Ros or Harry like it and...

Spoiler: show
Somewhat they'll be alert how much 'close' they'll get. It's said that MI5 will be against it, let Lucas know it and if it compromises too much their work I think they will do something, even if it'd actually take some dangerous thing to happen for that storyline to end.

I think the writers will develop it quite close to reality...

I think I've read somewhere (although I've been reading so much lately that I can't place quite where....) that Richard Armitage has said
Spoiler: show
that it ends after it's all gone horribly wrong.....

My head is spinning with all this sudden publicity, and I'm happy to be corrected if I've misread this!

I think you're right, I read that somewhere too.

Spoiler: show
He said that about ep 8 so it would end in an amazing cliffhanger where they didn't know who survived and who didn't. Being his relationship with the CIA agent one of the thing that contributed to it.

At least that's what I understood from all he's said...
