RE: What books are you into? - almh - 06-10-2009 05:52 PM I've also read all the Harry Potters and enjoyed them... Hated the film though. But I do like reading (but read less frequently than I used to.) I googled it and I think I'm going to buy it XD (06-10-2009 01:38 PM)endorwitch Wrote: I loved teh first few Harry Potter books but my enjoyment started to wane after book 5 and by the end I was just annoyed with JKR. I didn't like the Goblet of fire, it was like she was trying to pad it out too much. Even more so with the order of the pheonix (but I preferred that storyline) Waffling is good when trying to pass GCSE history, but not in a novel RE: What books are you into? - almh - 06-10-2009 05:54 PM Oooh, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? I know someone who's reading that - any good??? RE: What books are you into? - bertowud - 07-10-2009 12:28 AM (06-10-2009 05:54 PM)almh Wrote: Oooh, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? RE: What books are you into? - almh - 07-10-2009 04:18 PM Cool, I'll try getting it out of the library or borrowing it off my friend RE: What books are you into? - Beatriz - 07-10-2009 06:04 PM Ok, you convinced me, I'll start reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Talking about Harry Potter, I didn't like the way that it finished, the last book was a bit dissapointing RE: What books are you into? - Tranquility - 07-10-2009 06:25 PM I thought the last book was just like Lord of the Rings, but I still enjoyed it. She shouldn't have written that last chapter though RE: What books are you into? - bertowud - 07-10-2009 07:33 PM Tranquility, I think you're right. I don't think she could possibly write an ending to the series that would satisfy anyone. RE: What books are you into? - Tranquility - 07-10-2009 08:42 PM When I read it, I ignore the last chapter. The ending for me in when Spoiler: show Spoiler: show I put in spoiler tags just incase someone doesn't know what happens, highly unlikely but hey RE: What books are you into? - Beatriz - 07-10-2009 09:00 PM Yeah! the last chapter what was that? I think Spoiler: show |
