I follow Sam Vincent’s tweets, even though some of them are quite opaque at least to me. The talk of mermaid, barbarians, and ghosts are way beyond my comprehension. Bless his heart, he also tweeted as mentioned by ForeverSecret:

“shirtless Harry? Afraid not, I'm afraid a raffishly open collar and a tux will have to suffice”

PF fans, especially ForeverSecret, don’t take this wrong. As much as I love PF, I am relieved by Sam Vincent’s comment. I know that he looked good in the Vice in 2002. Sadly, the laws of gravity affect most of us as we age, perhaps even PF. I really do not want to see PF and even NW, who is much younger, in a state of undress. We had enough of that with RA and RPJ, however attractive they are. I am sure that MB, who is only 30 years old, will make quite a few fans feel flustered.

And I actually agree with you, as much as I love PF Wink
As much as Harry and Ruth getting together is a hope and as much as we like Peter, I'd prefer not to see anything 'too much' on screen, as it just isn't them Wink We were joking on Twitter with Sam to see his reaction, knowing there would never be such a scene for Harry, but its just a bit of fun anyway Wink it is nice though to see Harry in a Tux as he hardly ever gets the centre of attention in terms of attractive characters. It's usually focused on the younger spies, like Lucas had the centre of attention in S9, always getting his kit off in S7 and 8, but we hardly ever see Harry look dashing or dressed up and he hardly left the Grid or was in action in S8 and 9, it will be nice to see that, having not really had a tux scene since S1

Never usually Serious when talking to Sam because he can't tell us anything serious or truthful really until the episode airs because he doesnt want to give too much away, he always warns about spoilers Tongue Wink
A scene like that for PF... nah, never in Spooks at least Wink Most we'll get for is something like that is the scene with the Tux and he does look rather dashing Smile

Slight speculation but is anyone expecting anything to appear in the TV magazines tomorrow since a new edition usually comes out every Tuesday? Smile

Edit: looks like any info is published next week in TV Easy (the mag I usually have), it just says next weeks that Spooks returns and the same info we've already had aka "Harry's secret past and destroying the people he cares about and the woman he loves, Ruth"

I totally had a dream bout harry going to a fancy banqut or ball or sumin for an undercover op. He and some of the team were dressed in tuxes and fancy dresses.

I know its kinda corny but i reckon it'd be kinda a nice moment if ruth appeared a similar function for an op. with the team at such a function (they needed her translating skills or wot not) and ruth entered all dressed up. I can jus imagine a moment where Harry is waitng impatiently for everyone to arrive, looks over and does a double take on seeing ruth all dressed up and gorgeous lol. sigh....i cn dream....

Don't get me wrong i wouldnt want it drawn out but if PFs gettng dressed up why not Ruth?

Sacha is in doubt, why can't Max Witt be the father? If a British father is needed for Sacha, I think that it is asking too much from the fans to accept Harry as the father. He has enough problems with his English children. He will never bond with his new alleged son. A while ago I saw a picture of Harry and Sacha walking down steps. Harry or PF did not look happy. I could not tell whether it was because of the script or because some fan interrupted the shoot.

I would really hate the question of Harry being this man's father even to be raised. Spooks is not that kind of show. H&R romance is one thing, but a 'who's the daddy?' plot is just plain lazy writing for a show like Spooks. Plenty of other ways to create intrigue and tension. IMHO.

I would hate it too. When this new young character first appeared in a press release (sorry I cannot find it anywhere), it was mentioned that he had a "murky" parentage. Some of us, at least I, jumped to that one conclusion. The "who's the daddy" plot would certainly increase the hate of the Gavrik family for Harry, but as you said it is too predictable. I am always amazed by the creativity of the writers in giving us unexpected twists, such as the impersonator of Harry. I can't wait to find out what the early press release meant with their comment.

Harry you twonk, you're suppose to take Ruth to the ball not Elena Tongue And by that I mean ballet Tongue Not liking that part of the PR at all
I hope to God nothing happens between those two, at all...Harry and Elena I mean... Harry loves Ruth far too much and it would be a bigger betrayal to fans than what ever Harry's secret might be... Sasha potentialy being Harry's family I can take, Harry betraying Ruth is a step way too far
