RE: Episode 1 Ratings - nothingisasitseems - 01-12-2009 12:53 PM Episode 4 last Wednesday held firm at 4.6m viewers. Cannot find any figures at all for the Friday night BBC3 showing. Looks as if this might be the norm now but it will be interesting to see how many the final episode will pull in - I assume they will not show this the previous Friday? RE: Episode 1 Ratings - JHyde - 03-12-2009 01:54 AM Good ratings for BBC3 on Friday night are apparently anything in excess of 800 000. Which they've been pulling consistently. They've finally confirmed that the ratings are a combination of the BBC1 numbers and the BBC3 numbers. So if you watch on Friday turn your damn TV on Wednesday night too! RE: Episode 1 Ratings - almh - 03-12-2009 06:24 AM My family do that! (Well, I try to watch it on BBC 3 as well but it doesn't always work...) Do you know if that figure includes recordings? RE: Episode 1 Ratings - Nitrus - 03-12-2009 06:27 AM Or iplayer for that matter? RE: Episode 1 Ratings - JHyde - 03-12-2009 07:17 AM No and no. As in no, they don't include them, not no, I don't know. RE: Episode 1 Ratings - Beatriz - 03-12-2009 08:54 AM They should include downloadings and you tube!! RE: Episode 1 Ratings - JHyde - 03-12-2009 03:00 PM Exactly. And no, the final episode's ratings will be, as with the premiere, shown for the first time on BBC1. Good indicators are that the numbers have gone up again after the initial slump from episodes 1 to 2. That's normal. But they've then increased again by and large every week, against stiff competition. Basically, if it's the last season, it won't be because of poor ratings. RE: Episode 1 Ratings - Amish Mani - 03-12-2009 03:36 PM That's pretty impressive. If you take into account people like me(who don't have access to BBC and who watch it online) the audience figures might possibly go 50% up. Last night's figures were a disaster at only 3.9m - the lowest ever. |
