I am getting rather sick of chemistry atm the module we are doing atm is all maths and I detest maths!! I mean if I liked maths I would have picked a flaming maths A level but I picked chem thinking it would be all lovely experiments but nooo!! Haha sorry I always go off on one I think I have surpassed my self this time with my little rant Haha thats fine I am very nervous and worried about it atm so I go off about it to anyone that will listen But if you say you are interested haha, I will take the opportunity to ramble :/ (I am sure you will regret asking when I've done haha) My choices are: International relations at Durham Politics and history at Edinburgh Politics and history at Birmingham International politics and history at Leeds And my back up History and international relations at Leicester. So far I have only had offers from leeds and leicester, most of my friends have had all 5! I am very stressed out! Has your bro had any luck yet? And I am sorry for my little foray off topic I am not sure you wanted to hear in quite that much detail haha so I am sorry RE: A-levels/GCSEs anyone? - JHyde - 01-12-2009 12:53 AM No, this is the place to talk about it, don't worry I think it's great there are a few of you going through this together. It's one of the few things that makes it easier, knowing everybody has the same stresses ultimately. And look at how many people get through it all! "There goes my chance at a happy life full of hard work". George Michael, Arrested Development, in response to his father's concerns that he's not doing as well as he should at school. Haha sorry I always go off on one I think I have surpassed my self this time with my little rant Wow impressive choices And dw the top unis do tend to take their time, its cos they know they have so many people desperate to go there!! And my brother only recently sent off his from ( lazy swine ) so no offers as yet But you will have to keep us posted offers wise, I am deffo interested in how you get on (obv not if u don't want to ) But if you are stressed out I will always be here for you :') and I am sure everyone else on spooks forum What careers do you get with those degrees? I am stil undecided as to my career plans atm its environmental managemnt though RE: A-levels/GCSEs anyone? - deathbymascara - 04-12-2009 11:51 PM Aww thanks yourfuturemuse thats dead sweet :'). And actually I am now extremely happy - I have offers from Durham and Birmingham as well I am so pleased and relieved but now of course I have to work hard to get the grades And careerwise I have no definite plan which is obv not a good idea but I would quite like to do a postgrad law afterwards Enviro Man was one of the manymany courses I looked at I would suggest Birmingham (You get a year in New Zealand :O) RE: A-levels/GCSEs anyone? - YourFutureMuse - 10-12-2009 12:22 AM Not really relevant but as you have applied to Leeds deathbymascara I went to an open day there today and loved it!! Well the uni and the city can't quite find an actual course I want to do yet but minor detail lol I would recommend you go there |
