i imagine lucas would take over from the senior officer of section d as he is the logical next person

Yes, but he may not remain in that position for very long if he gets into trouble. I'm not sure if MB's character is fit to be section chief in the long run, he's ten years younger than RA/HN/RPJ but then in series one MM was in his late twenties.

But you have to take a leap of faith, and I knew I had to stop her before she stopped me.”

Wasn't Lucas meant to be section chief before the Russians got to him so possibly he's been reinstated.

i imaging he def will be now because it can tbe ruth because she hasnt been in the field

she really gives a lot away about how she copes with her life, and she seems to be really happy and settled with her life!
