RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - Nia M - 26-01-2010 07:49 PM An anteroom where unfettered (or unlettered, but I'm pretty sure it's unfettered) artisans gather RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - Nitrus - 26-01-2010 07:50 PM Here's the riddle: An anteroom where unfettered artisans may gather. RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - Nia M - 26-01-2010 07:52 PM Whoo! ![]() Bit of a mouthful if you try saying it.... ![]() RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - lwhite53 - 26-01-2010 07:53 PM Actually, it's alliterative -- I like it! RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - Nia M - 26-01-2010 07:54 PM Isn't assonance the repetition of vowels? RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - Beatriz - 26-01-2010 07:54 PM I would never have solved that!!! lol RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - Nia M - 26-01-2010 07:57 PM It was the whole rythym thing that had me stumped initially - I kept getting confused by how one of the letters seemed to have two possible letter values. Then I spotted how the last three characters were 'qg$' and since q=' ' and $=a, and there's no actual two-letter word (that I know of) that ends in a, I tried reversing the sequence. Then it fell into place ![]() RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - Nitrus - 26-01-2010 07:58 PM Yeh, the whole thing with the rhythm was me trying to tell you that the string was reversed.. without being blunt about it lol. RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - Nia M - 26-01-2010 08:00 PM It was a very good code ![]() RE: Code Breaking Competition 2.0 - deathbymascara - 26-01-2010 08:02 PM ha I had no chance at this ![]() But well done ![]() and well done to nitrus for making it so good! |
