This is very strange. No official BBC announcement but BBC Radio 4 confirms!?! I assume that means it's a go for series 9 . . . ? Not that I'm at all unhappy -- maybe this is a new kind of pr thing, a non-announcement announcement!

That sounds rather like the civil service is putting out the announcment of a new series.

"Spooks has been a highly successful franchise for Kudos and the BBC and it will continue to be produced for as long as the people wish it to be so."
