X factor - Tranquility - 22-08-2009 04:23 PM

Not a fan myself but the new series starts tonight Smile I find the auditions quite amusing but that's it Big Grin

I love a bit of X Factor, it fills those Saturday nights when we can't get a babysitter!!! Only thing is, it makes me think that the winter is just around the corner! Just reminds me of cold, dark nights and the dreaded run up to.....dare I say it.......XmasUndecided

CHRISTMAS!! I can't wait Smile lol I love the dark, crisp mornings, all frosty. Lovely Big Grin it annoys me though when X-factor winners take the no. 1 spot Confused

I used to love Christmas until I had kids now it's just unbelievably stressful! Your right tho about X Factor winners always grabbing the no.1 slot, how many decent songs have missed out on it because of some nobody who will be forgotten about within 6 months?!

RE: X factor - Tranquility - 22-08-2009 10:09 PM

I know, look at that Alex person. She's just sort of been forgotten, just as all X factor winners are apart from Leona Lewis. I'm starting to find Christmas stressful now, mainly because I have to pay for presents and help cook Confused buuut I still act like a six year old on Christmas morning Tongue

RE: X factor - CarterReynolds - 22-08-2009 10:21 PM

I've never cooked Xmas lunch yet and i've been married almost 13 years!! We go to my mums one year and my in laws the next......it's all good! I still get excited about Xmas but it's just to see the look on the kids faces when they open their pressies.....it's not so nice now tho cos my eldest doesn't believe in Santa anymore Sad

I watch the round 1 auditions of X Factor, purely for comedy purposes lol... but there weren't many full auditions that were cringe-worthy lol.

So what did we think of "Triple Trouble" and the "Dream Girls" dunno bout you...but I sat there cringing and squirming.... just what a Saturday night's entertainment should be Smile

Dream Girls were hilarious...

When the brunette broke into "chorus" I thought I was going to need hearing aids to recover lol...

I couldn't really see them being models either... weren't exactly attractive...
