Sorry this is a mundane question, but I'm looking for back DVDs on amazon and ebay and was wondering whether there is a difference between DVD Season x or DVD Box SetSeason x. Is the box set different as in this has editor cuts/commentaries? Are there commentaries on all the DVDs?

I understand your problem. Not sure about the 'box set' issue; but some releases don't have extras. If you're buying an Australian season of Spooks, season 7 does not have any extras on it - I had to buy a British copy as well.
