I've seen this show mentioned on this site a couple of times, so I thought I'd post this. For those of us on the other side of the pond, PBS will air Call the Midwife, which includes Spooks alum Jenny Agutter, starting on Sunday 30 Sept, 2012.

Sweet pea, what did you think? I loved this series. Since read the first book as well which is also worth reading. The scene with Miranda in gave me goose pimples - so good!

I enjoyed the show and liked seeing London at that time and place. Then again, I'm predisposed to good British dramas as well as period pieces.
