Thanks for your kind wishes, guys. I'm really very proud and excited to help build on the fantastic work Nitrus, bertowud and Tranquility have done so far, and the huge influx of new members over the last 2 weeks only means we'll be getting busier.
For those of you who I don't bounce around the forum with: I'm a 26 year old born and bred in Sydney, Australia, who enjoys soft porn and walks on the beach.....no. I earn my income from data analysis at a major market research company allied with the national newspaper here, and also by singing at weddings. I've been a fan of Spooks since 2003, so I'm obviously pretty invested by now. Harry and Ruth are my favourite characters for totally different reasons, but I also love Malcolm and Zaf. I'm currently teaching myself Arabic (to add to my language collection that I never get to use because I don't travel!) and play netball and surf when I can (not nearly enough).
Feel free to PM me and introduce yourself. I honestly believe that places like this are the best way to make new friends. Technology should free us, not tie us down the way tabloid newspapers so often claim it does. I've always felt welcome here, and I hope this feeling of goodwill continues as the forum grows.
Oh bollocks. I so shouldn't have accepted this position until after I'd won an award or two. I wanted to get member of the month, dammit!
