RE: Episode 2 Discussion [Rewatch]
Definitely after Diana died - by about 5 years!
It seemed like many things passed Helen's desk. Often times when you work the unglamorous office roles the most personal stuff crosses your desk. It's certainly something I know from experience. Not to mention - they ARE spooks, after all. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: Episode 2 Discussion [Rewatch]
And since she was somewhat taken with Tom, Helen may have just "liberated" the file to take a quick look!

RE: Episode 2 Discussion [Rewatch]
It wasn't an "accident" caused by the asset, Osbourne was shot by the biker. If you listen to the sound when the it shows the funeral/assassination montage you can hear a gunshot.

RE: Episode 2 Discussion [Rewatch]
I don't remember a shot (only saw it once, didn't even need a shot) but seeing the bike pull up alongside the car was very pleasing. I suspected it was a kill but wanted to ask here to make sure.
Rooftop scene: Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away. Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!" Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas." |

RE: Episode 2 Discussion [Rewatch]
Yes, there's definitely a shot, but it could have been to take out one of the tyres to cause the accident.

RE: Episode 2 Discussion [Rewatch]
Exactly. Either way it's pretty clear the dude died, and that's what we all wanted, I think.
I remember reading in an article David Wolstonecraft did when the shoiw came out in Australia that he got the idea for Osborne to humiliate his wife from his girlfriend. He asked her what she would find really humiliating and degrading, and I love that you hear the audible gulp from the journo. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: Episode 2 Discussion [Rewatch]
Osbourne is a controlling bastard but I do find it strange he would demand his wife bare herself in front of his friends. What if one of them had "admired" her too openly. Would he have hit him? That was pretty much a no-win situation for the others.
