With you, TygerBright, Lucas is even better than Tom or Adam, but of course he isn't Section Chief !

Barring her, I'd go with Adam. Not because he was necessarily a better leader (they had different qualities but both led the team well) but because the officers serving under him grew more during his tenure. Zoe and Danny came into their own under Adam -- that wouldn't have happened with Tom, imo, because everything was always about Tom. The others were supporting characters to his lead.

Tom didn't do it for me at all, hardly missed him when he went but Adam.....yummy, and Lucas - mega yummy although of course they have other important characteristics I just can't be bothered to discuss right now *drinks vodka* :o)

Me too. She's as cynical as can be, and yet, she grew on me. Like Harry, she has feelings but never shows them. And like him, she is protective of the others.

I watched S7 first, then decided that I'd better catch up...started with S1, got freaked out that it was so different to the Spooks that I knew, didn't really notice Tom, and then decided to work backwards from S7. I could deal with S6, and then a year later thought that I should give S1 another attempt...I fell in love with Tom and Danny and Zoe and Colin...I still miss them all!!!

I watched S1, S2 and S3 in about a week and I was horrifically sad when Tom left. I cried. But I continued watching, because I was very impressed with Adam in S6, and Adam grew on me a bit, then faded away when I remembered how much I loved Tom.

I think Tom gets it for me. I don't know why...it might be to do with realism, and the flaws he had. It could be something else as well...

I miss Tom :'(
