Married, Single, Other has some good people in it, so please let me know what you think. I'm confident it will be picked up here.

I saw that both Glenister and Chancellor were in L&O this week, and thought shazia. kazim would surely get her double whammay of sighting a spook a day!

I dont know if anyone else saw the first episode last night but it was very good and I would recommend it if you didnt. It was very funny although ran quite close to being a bit sentimental. Miranda Raison looked stunning and she certainly got my husband's interest when she appeared in her leather biker outfit showing a bit of chest! Actually he said to me "isnt that Ruth from Spooks?" Grrrrrh!

I am not sure it tested Miranda's acting abilities too much though, but I guess it's early days yet with the series.

I did quite enjoy it too, maybe a little bit slow to start, but it definitely has potential!! I am sure there were quite a few men drooling over Miranda, how dare she have a figure that looks like that in leather.......

Lucas North: Your situation is more precarious than you realize, Connie, so stop pressing buttons and give us something.
Connie James: Threats don't work with a person who has nothing to lose.
Lucas North: Oh, you're too ingenious to think that I'm threatening you. I'm offering you a simple choice: help us or don't. I'll leave you to compute the implication.Cool

Just noticed that in the same BBC Programme information for the week of 20-26 March where the new series of Ashes to Ashes is mentioned, there is another Spooky programme on that week. Exact date and time to be confirmed. It is "Blood & Oil" and has David Oyelowo and Peter Firth in it. They are listed 4th and 5th in the cast. I think it is in two parts. Here is the link if you want to read more about it. It doesnt sound like they have major parts in the series but it still should be worth a watch (well anything with PF in it, is for me.) Smile

Yes, kind of makes you wonder whether it is any good or not.

Just a quick word on Private Lives which I went to see yesterday at the Vaudeville Theatre in London. I though it was wonderful and extremely amusing. Both Matthew Macfadyen and Kim Cattrall were great. If you don't know the story MM and KC play a divorced couple. They split up and get remarried. These two couples then end up on honeymoon together in the same resort. It all gets a bit out of control from there. I wont spoil it but if you get a chance to go, it is worth it. I think it's playing until May.

MM had quite a posh English accent but there were occassions where he dropped it and reverted back to sounding like Tom Quinn. The other thing was that he is absolutely massive. His whole body, chest, shoulders, hands, are huge! I could imagine poor PF standing next to him in filming and perhaps being a little dwarfed! Also got to see part of MM's hairy chest. Obviously with me being a serious theatre-goer, I didn't remain fixated on it...cough cough.....but I did need some ice-cream at the interval for some reason!

I hate the play but I can see him being pretty good in that particular role. How was Cattrall, as a side note?
