Since we're discussing wardrobe for Harry, I'd like to see the nice season 7 ties make a comeback in season 9. I especially loved that gold coloured one he was wearing when the Special Forces burst in and arrested him in 7.7 (sniff, I find that scene incredibly sad...). His season 8 ties were pretty non-descript.

It seems to me that overall there's been improvement throughout the series in characters' wardrobe. One highlight for me: Ros' white trenchcoat in series 5 (i think).

I'm for the tux, and the shirtsleeves, and also some off-the-grid clothing (a la action Harry). Nix on the waistcoat -- been there, done that!

Harry looks good in anything, but my favourite is his casual look in season 2 at the beginning of the episode were he is burgled for the firestorm codes.

Mmmm, that's why I am looking forward to the SF rewatch this weekend because I think it's that episode.

It may be staid but poor Harry hasnt got the hand of a good woman to help him with his wardrobe and that shows through with his casual look in 2.7 and 4.9. He looked lovely when on his date though I agree. I think this is the only time he has worn a blue shirt on the show.
