I'm wondering how the two would be together in a film.. I was actually watching Sharpe thinking how RA would play him.. while there are similarities between him and Sean Bean, I think RA's acting is .. dunno, more subtle and multi-faceted. Might be wrong though and not have seen enough Sean Bean Big Grin
have been meaning to blog on some roles I'd love to see him play.. Sharpe being one. Others being Captain Ahab, Athos, Vicomte de Valmont in Dangerous Liaisons (oh he'd be wicked.. bit like Lovelace Big Grin)... will elaborate and illustrate in my lair later this week Big Grin

I would love to see him play Sydney Carton....only I would have no idea on who would play the similar looking Charles Darnay. Huh

Him again, I don't see any reason why he can't play both. It has been done before, didn't Alec Guiness do a film with him playing all the main parts?

Interesting fact for those who didn't know. RA did a 20-week contract in a circus in Budapest to get his Equity card!

Kind Hearts and Coronets.. what a brilliant black comedy Big Grin
I'd actually love to see him in a comedy... and if it's black all the better Smile

kirmo - you're welcome Tongue .. and I'm far from finished "paper-dolling" him, as soon as this week's work is done I'll put him in a few more costumes.. watch the other space Big Grin

RE: Richard Armitage
Having read this thread, I feel I may have become slightly rabid lol.

I just thought you'd like to know that there is a Santander bank in my town centre. I almost squee'd when I walked past it. Almost.

Whenever I see a Santander bank my first thought is that if I wait around long enough RA will turn up!
