Matthew Macfadyen
Thought he should have his own thread Spesh as this year looks like it is going to be a big one for him
Read this article in the guardian a while back , lots of info on his past and future projects. http://www.guardian.co.uk/stage/2010/feb...vate-lives And what I found most interesting was the bit about him voicing the tannoy at Harrods! I have never noticed that! |

RE: Matthew Macfadyen
Love MM - and this year is turning out to be big.
I am going to go to see RH because MM is in it...love the look of his Sherriff and laughed in the trailer when he yells "Nail" and an arrow appears! I am also looking forward to The Pillars of the Earth where he plays Prior Philip...a major character. And I have read that he may be appearing on Broadway in Private Lives in the new year which would be incredible and I may just have to take a trip to the Big Apple for that! @livinglovingmad...so happy to see another Canuck on the Forum!!! Thank you TygerBright for my fantastic av & sig! |

RE: Matthew Macfadyen
I'm really hoping all his stuff in Robin Hood hasn't ended up on the cutting room floor. He could be magnificent in this role and hold his own against Cate and Rusty - really hopes it pays off for him!
Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: Matthew Macfadyen
In the article linked by YFM, MM is mentioned as filming a drama for channel 4, Any Human Heart based on the novel by William Boyd. Further casting has been announced and it looks like a stellar cast.

RE: Matthew Macfadyen
Just realised that I was thinking of a different article, than the one linked by YFM, where it was mentioned about MM and Any Human Heart.
