RE: Spooks Actors--former projects thread
I remember seeing that one And she was in an Agatha Christie, cat among the pigeons I think it was, playing a french teacher, I almost didn't recognise her! I remember because I saw both of those programmes on the same day and had a Spooky moment
Miranda Raison was also in a C4 comedy called Plus One last year (incidentally with Daniel Mays who is in the next series of A2A) which I found absolutely hilarious |

Have just started watching the dvd's of Touching Evil, with Nicola Walker playing a real kick-ass detective inspector. Interesting to pick up some of the same looks and mannerisms she uses in Spooks.
"What is the truth?" "Betrayal is a cancer. Let it eat your soul, not mine." "Please tell me this isn't going where I think it's going." |

Ooh another Agatha Christie one, the actress who plays Christine was in a Poirot that was repeated a few days ago on ITV, I think it was 'The Hollow'. She had an English accent and everything

She's great in that. It was a good show that was a starting point for lots of good people - writers, directors and actors.
Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: Spooks Actors--former projects thread
OK I may have missed it on here, but what has Adam Carter been in? It is driving me mad, I watched the first episode of series 3 and am positive that he has been in another similar role but just can't place it......

RE: Spooks Actors--former projects thread
That wasn't what I was thinking of but thanks Aria, perhaps he just looks like another actor.
I did like Hermione Norris in Wire in the Blood it was never the same after she left, I think it is her "No Nonsense" exasperated look that is the appeal, plus she does look quite fit. Will never be better than Keeley though .. haha! Jenny Agutter was particularly "nice" in An American Werewolf in London, it was almost worth being attacked by a werewolf to be nursed by her. Also liked her in The Riddle of the Sands. It is nice to see that she has grown older with dignity. I think that I just like well spoken English Actresses Keeley is also the voice of Lara Croft in the later Tomb Raider Computer Games If you reveal your secrets to the wind, you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees. |
