RE: Things I learnt from watching Spooks
That any location in London used for quiet meetings is just a 2 minute walk from Thames House.
That the Director General of MI-5 doesn't actually do anything. [I'm sure Jonathan Evans would raise an eyebrow to that one!] That the Home Secretary has responsibility for pretty much everything that happens in the UK. "Where's Harry?" "Moving in mysterious ways." |

Countdowns are always bad.
(I keep looking suspciously at my microwave waiting for it to explode....) Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |

If you ever think you're being followed, pretend to tie your shoelace for a while and then walk in the opposite direction.

If you see two people in a car sitting outside your house trying to follow you, phone the police and tell them that two people are making out in a car and that children might see XD I love Peter Salter, legend!
DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered. |

It is almost impossible to actually drown in the Thames, especially if Adam is with you....
Lucas North: Your situation is more precarious than you realize, Connie, so stop pressing buttons and give us something. Connie James: Threats don't work with a person who has nothing to lose. Lucas North: Oh, you're too ingenious to think that I'm threatening you. I'm offering you a simple choice: help us or don't. I'll leave you to compute the implication. |

That all male MI5 operatives are ridiculously good looking! ( I fear I'd be disappointed in the real world haha)

Honey traps are naff.
I have not experienced that one yet but am looking forward to it. Now all I need to do is get caught up through S8. Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |
