RE: [spoilers] Spooks Actors - New Projects Thread
The best part about Luther last night was Nicola Walker's acting, at last someone who could act with emotion. The problem was I had to put up with hubby constantly saying "What do you think Harry would say".
Lucas 8.4: It's all about trust, isn't Harry ?. Signature by the brilliant TygerBright |

RE: [spoilers] Spooks Actors - New Projects Thread
Lol. It was great acting, particularly the interview room scene when it all began to unravel. I also like her sinking a hammer into the back of "Eddie's" head. The unspoken acting moments before she did was brilliant, the look of conviction and content on her face was brilliantly conveyed.
Btw, this is the first time I've seen Rob Jarvis in this sort of role and it creeped me out. But he did well and I think it will help him get into other roles other than comic relief. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

It's like the difference between how you speak with your friends and how you speak to your boss. I want to track this down now. NW doesn't exactly do a whole lot of shows, she mainly does theatre. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

I think you missed my point, that she speaks like Ruth on the interviews. It's always come across as her normal accent.

This was my first episode as I kept reading reviews saying it wasn't very good. Yes the interview room scene was brilliant. I just couldnt believe though that they would let the wife wander around a murder scene at the end and help herself to a hammer !! |

I see your point, but we can't imagine the confusion and (let's face it) excitement of catching someone in the act like that, judgements lapse.
Luther might not be to everyone's tastes, but there is some brilliant acting and a litter of Spooks actors across the series and I just like cop shows. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

It sounds like a great show, just a pity it airs on ITV.
