It's not because I'm a BBC snob, it's because ITV's online catch-up is nothing compared to iPlayer and 4OD.

I thought that you might all be interested in this BCS campaign that Miranda is involved with at the moment: http://pioneers.bcs.org/2010/5/12/hedy-lamarr
She is in a short film which highlights the life and achievements of Hedy Lamarr as an information pioneer. Hope you enjoy! |

Besides watching Miranda which is always nice, Hedy Lamarr sounds like an amazing woman. She gets my vote. |

How any of you haven't voted for Alan Turing is beyond me. But nevermind.

Although Alan Turing got little recognition for what he did when he was alive, he has that recognition now. Hedy Lamarr really is still an unknown. Sorry Nitrus. She is leading the voting as well. |

RE: [spoilers] Spooks Actors - New Projects Thread
I've seen it - MM was great as sheriff - Mark Strong was awesome!!! RC & CB - meh - ok.
One of the funniest lines is when King John looks over the cliff and sees the French troops arriving and says "That's a lot of French!" - made me LOL Glad I went to see it on the big screen - some of the shots were beautifully framed. Also glad it was cheap night! I would problably go to see a sequel as long as MM was in it!!! Yup I'm a big MM fan. I was basically happiest when the bad guys were on the screen.... Thank you TygerBright for my fantastic av & sig! |
