That's not so stupid. I would have assumed they had code names for roads under those circumstances. But maybe that's too much to remember under fire. OK, it is.

That's like in 8.4, Lucas meets Darshavin near Tilbury Water Tower which is an actual place, in Tilbury, Essex and there are indeed marshes which are good for bird watching. The old pillboxes, where they actually meet, are part of a complex called Coal House fort in the Tilbury area.

I don't think we have this one already, but the bridge where Ros shoots Sarah in 8.8 is at SE16 7TD, Rope Street/S Sea Street, Camberwell.

I am soooo distracted today.....

Only by fluke chance though. Someone was tweeting that they were filming spooks next to their office today and the profile of that person gave their company name. I looked up the company and found the address which was right next to this bridge. It looked familiar so I watched the clip from 8.8 again and there you have it.

OMG Beatriz! I've always wondered where that was. I have just checked it out on Google Maps, and just to the left of that shot, is an office building. I used to work there. This is where I had my first real job in London back in 1997. I will have to go and check the church out when I am next in town. Did you manage to work out whether they actually filmed inside this church for the other scenes?

I found this location in a very sillly way... I typed "skull church london" in google and it was the first entry!! I check and it seemed the same. There were no pictures from the inside so no idea... If you go there let us know if the interior was used for the filming.
