she has spent what 4 years on this show many lead actors dont stay that long in any tv show let alone spooks ;?(

You think we'll see any self-blaming on Lucas or Harry's part? Or even in HS if he makes it for a couple of eps? Well, if she dies here (an not 'a la Jo' 2 eps later), she did it to save HS, so I think writer would make him live so her death was not in vain...right?

you would hope so that if she does she died saving him! it would be heartbreaking if she died and he did do - would be such a waist expecialy when jo and adam both died to save someone/something

So, she definitely has not been doing any filming for S9 then but I still hope that she shot some scenes last year which will be shown in 9.1. I would hate to think that S9 opens with a funeral.

I haven't read that article and I know what's the future of Ros but I'm still in denial (it's a pity Aria isn't around to help me with this quest Tongue

).

Being realistic (and a bit optimistic too) I also hope Ros does some filming without being notice. I'm with Tea Lady, it would be weird if this season started with a funeral of even weirder if they don't deal with it... I think the "best thing" would be: she survives but her injuries are too bad Sad

Anyway, this is just speculation, sorry.
(I also hope that the baby HS survives, but that's another thing Angel

)

Am I wrong or did series 4 start with Danny's funeral (that was interrupted by some new crisis?) after he was killed in the last episode of series 3? We already knew he was dead, so Ros would be the first character who did not survive the cliffhanger, that would be a novelty!

Yes, you're right Maike, season 4 did start with Danny's funeral. I'm just saying that we've already been to "Ros' funeral", well sort of... and it will be kind of repetitive... I dunno. Maybe it's just me being in denial...

It appears that baby HS did die as in the interview it says, "a new Home Secretary played by Simon Russell Beale." Or maybe Lawrence is just too injured to continue his role?

I am gutted for Ros. Really hope she's in hospital and then dies (OR LIVES. But that's not going to happen :|) in 9.01. It'd be so heart-breaking but would make great drama. It'd also be interesting to see the rest of the character's reactions and what they'd do/say to her whilst she's unconscious.
