There is a button to press to do what you ask HellsBells.

If you see the attached image, you should see a little green arrow next to the thread with new posts in it.

That button will take you to the first unread post rather than the latest post.

I was thinking, as there are some people who aren't British and cant watch Spooks, there could be a thread with links to download the new episodes, I could be in charge, no problem with that, but as it's illegal I don't know if you want a thread like this in this forum...

I have been thinking along the same lines, however I will not allow links to illegal material to be posted on a public forum.

I am planning to add a private subscriber-only section where these kind of activities could take place, subscribers will pay a small yearly subscription fee for access to this forum and many other priveleges.

I was going to allow the forum to grow before implementing this plan, but if people feel like this is something they would like now, then I have no problem bringing my plans forward. Although you should note that the plan does involve adding ads to the site.

How do people feel about what i've said?

That's why I asked, it's normal you don't want this in the forum.

I don't know if the private forum would work... Not many people is willing to pay, and it depends on the price... As for the ads, no problem at all with that.

Perhaps the thing is to add a section to this forum with all the conditions you say, and only subscribers could enter; and the rest of the forum would stay the same.

I don't know if this is possible...

That's what I said? lol. Perhaps I wasn't clear.. there will be one section on the forum for subscribers only.. the rest of the forum will be exactly the same as now except with ads.
