Just had a look in the TV Mag TV Easy and they are advertising it as coming back the week after next but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Exactly. We can tell the difference between fiction and reality.

The Spooks episode featuring the bomb in London went out on schedule but with a warning beforehand about distressing scenes. If I remember correctly it was mentioned on the DVD extras that they made very slight cuts to remove the more distressing scenes but they were shown in full on the DVD.

What I'm trying to say is, if they can show an episode about a bombing in London barely 3 months after the London bombings of 2005 then I don't think they've pulled it because of anything going on in Pakistan.

Well, at least it's a possible date. But why is it changing so much???

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

With regard to changes mentioned above between broadcast and DVD: why is it that the odd line of dialogue is missing from the DVD versions that I clearly remember on the broadcast?

Sometimes they are forced to edit them post-broadcast due to complaints for whatever reason.

Back on topic now please, this thread is about the airdate of the new series. Thanks. Big Grin

I was so excited when I read this thread title! Only to find out we'll (well you in the UK, me...maybe longer Dodgy) have to wait until *November*!!!!

So disappointed!

LNF

PS:(Maybe a dumb question)Why is there a count down, if there's no exact date yet? Angel

Because up until yesterday, it was pretty much confirmed for the 29th.

I refuse to take down the countdown just becase the BBC feel like messing us around, I shall therefore just amend the target date as we receive new information.

The countdown is currently counting down to the 5th November, which is the first Thursday in November.

But most of all, countdowns are awesome. Tongue
