Oh Ruth..... heart breaking.... so tragic....
I HATE YOU LUCAS!!!!! *machine gun fire*

That is all I am capable of saying right now. I have asthma and currently a cough/chesty thing and breathing was hard to begin with, so after that ep.... yeah thanks Spooks, my flatmate is afraid I'm gonna collapse -.- trying to calm down...

Yes! Let's bring Zoe back!

Considering all the evidence we've got so far (series 9 and the trailer for next week's episode) I'd be incredibly sceptical if Harry allowed Lucas to stay in MI5. After he has lied so much, would you really want him in MI5???

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

Hey "Who Needs Bond" you are correct I kinda forgot about that, Adam was a great introduction to the series.

Of course yeh what is Albany all about, I would like to say all will be revealed next week but as the series go they may still leave us to wonder :-)

That was a ****ing rollercoaster! One minute I felt sympathy for John/Lucas before I knew he told Harry a pack of lies about the past then hated him when the truth came out with his last conversation with Vaughn. That confrontation between Harry and Lucas was gripping and Harry chucking his chair had me shouting bloody right! As for Ruth, I think she's flipped more than John/Lucas. Dont' normally shout at the tv too much but silly bitch came out of my mouth on more than one occasion. Shooting that guy so many times was the act of an unbalanced mind and my fear is she will want to go out in the field full time in Series 10 and kill every adversary she comes in contact with. And if she's not blaming Harry for George's death why's she so damned angry with him. He looks so hurt by her words I think it's time for him to get out of this hold she has on him and find himself a girl to show him some real love.

All in all another brilliant episode, in fact the best of the series and probably for me the best in years.

^ There will almost certainly be a huge cliffhanger that revolves around Lucas, Harry or Albanny, or knowing the writing in spooks, all three

I just posted this in the Ruth character thread, but it fits here too...

Series 9 Spoiler: show
I thought that Ruth's storyline tonight had the feel of a swansong...so I fear for the outcome of next week's episode where Ruth is concerned....

I wouldn't worry too much. My girlfriend doesn't watch it but she just goes and studies while I watch it...then I question her on any medical aspects afterwards...like could Vaughan have managed to run away with a 6" blade in his thigh!!
