Besides I don't think the Chinese were betrayed that badly. In 9.4 they were only trying to recover their scientist, and then trying to steal MI5 and CIA files and Albany (that is what spies do). Spooks does treat the Americans a lot worse, and they still love us....don't you?

That's very disappointing for such a crucial episode. The BARB figures for 9.7 are out. Spooks got 6.10 million. Much better than reported on the night in the press. http://www.barb.co.uk/report/weeklyTopPr...sOverview? |

The final episode of Spooks got 6.4 million viewers, according to BARB. Darn good if you ask me.

And it beat Holby City
I have to sit through that every week. My deal with Hubby is we watch his hospital dramas and then I can watch Spooks. Lucas 8.4: It's all about trust, isn't Harry ?. Signature by the brilliant TygerBright |

Apart from the first episode which got over 6.5m there wasn't really that much difference in the figures.

Although Spooks didn't make it into the top 20 for iplayer views this year, it did perform well in November and gets a mention in the BBC press release.

The top 20 is broken down by episode which makes sense, but I wonder how it would rate on iPlayer as an overall series? Also I wonder where it would rate if it were BBC1 only? Clearly it did well enough to warrant a mention. So that's good. Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |
