If you call it something like "SS8 E1P _" , it has a chance of staying up on You Tube. That's the only way I ever got to see series 7 in the US

That's a good idea. It could work, I also watched series 7 under a similar name on YT.

If you get to do it, as you said, you could PM us or just post it here (or maybe not, just to avoid any BBC spy to discover us Big Grin)

On topic: How would I spent Wednesday 4th? I think it'll go like "OMG 10 hours left....5...3...2....", when the time comes "UK people is watching Spooks", "Ros, Lucas, Jo, Malcom...they must be doing something to find Harry...oh why doesn't anyone give me a free one-day-per-week-ticket to fly back and forth to the UK, I just want to watch Spooks!"

See? I won in the 'Isn't it sad?' contest Shy

Had immense trouble trying to upload series 7..whilst series 7 was still airing over here. Had some people from outside the UK who could not view. So I had to make it private and not public. See below.
The only way you could do it would be to make the video private and not public. You would then have to invite people to view.
I think youtube lets up to 25 people view in private mode. But dont know how it works outside the uk. Happy to have a go.

Can anyone outside the UK view the pre-view clips?

I can view 2 but not the last one...........as for being able to see series 8, I can't work out how to get 'torrent' downloadsSad

I'm torrenting it too. Am sooo jealous of you people on the other side of the Atlantic who don't have to wait an extra sleep.
My Spooks Ceremony:
1. Switch off phone
2. Set a hot cup of tea nearby (which will promptly go cold and forgotten)
3. Snuggle up under the duvet (until I get so excited I have to throw it off)
4. Put in isolation headphones
5. Establish a secure connection to the Grid
Assuming there is life on the other side of this episode...
6. Thrash out the details with you people OR pull the duvet over my head [Image: spooks-hermione-norris.jpg]

Try googling "Vuze", it may be the easiest way of doing it these days

Thanks but there is a web site I have used before where people upload shows & I just download them from there & they aren't 'Torrents' so I am hoping I can use it again....

Well as it will probably be airing while i am at work, or on my way to work, Thursday morning I have to wait till i get home. Then i shall hit the torrent sites and get my new eppy!
Oh I am getting a bit excited now even though I still have a fair wait to go!

There's only one slight problem with the idea of flying over to London every week for an episode. For Silktie and I and others out in the antipodes, by the time we flew back home it would just be time to turn around and head to the airport again.

We should start an Adopt-a-Fan service - those lucky buggers living in the UK can adopt a non-UK fan for the duration of the series, then we wouldn't have to fly back and forth. Big Grin

Rest assured that when I lie awake at night wondering about longing looks betwen Harry and Ruth, the thought of organizing a couch-crashers for Spooks fans has occurred to me. Don't think I haven't been tempted.
