Nope, I don't trust him. I don't trust him one bit! He is the consummate politician. There is a lot of potential for head knocking with Harry. When it was all said and done, I was a little disappointed that an actor the caliber of SRB did not have bit more to do. I think (hope) he will factor more into S10 than he did into S9.

Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks];
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

I think that may depend on how much time they are going to spend on the Inquiry into Harry. I should think the HS will play a significant role in that storyline. However, if they tie that up in an episode or two, I think we may be back to the same amount of sreentime he got in season 9 for the rest of the season.

Ooh, unless they go for a storyline which I've always hoped they'd do - namely to have a senior politician as a traitor working for another country. The HS doesn't have to be the traitor himself, especially since this has kind of been done with Blake, but he could be one of the politicians under suspicion and Harry'll have to work with him at the same time as they're trying to figure out if he's the traitor or not. That should provide lots of opportunity for scenes filled with subtle double meaning and great acting between PF and SRB.

(If you are not too drunk, SRB will be talking about his career to Mark Lawson, including Spooks, on BBC4 at 10.30pm, Christmas Eve.)

Thanks for that TL, I'll have to try and catch it on the iPlayer as Christmas Eve tends to be busy.
