Something similar happened in our house. We went to replace the carpet and found a lovely hard wood floor underneath marred only by a 3 foot hole square the previous owner had cut to get a water heater in the basement. *sigh* So much for restoring the hard wood!

Hahaha! I needed a laugh binkie. Come do my house next. I LOVE color!

Please come and decorate my house as well. I don't really like decorating. In the last house we decorated, we removed some horrible ceiling tiles to reveal a huge hole in the ceiling!!!

I feel a new career beckoning!

I have fixed floors before, but have no experience of ceilings. I'm afraid, HellsBells, the hole in your ceiling would just have had to be re-fashioned as some kind of novelty feature. Perhaps a new portal to Narnia?!

I actually fixed the hole in the ceiling by filling it with plasterboard and then plastering over the top. I don't mind plastering....it is just like icing a cake!!! Then we moved house.

Going to watch my children's school Christmas concert this afternoon. It had to be cancelled before Christmas because so many children were off school ill.

HB...8 is not one of my favourites...but it's the first one I decided to buy. I'll probably buy S9 when it becomes available in Canada because it's affordable and I've heard the extras sound interesting.

Much more savings needed to buy the box set from S1-7; although that's why God created credit card Confused

Off to work to earn money for the box set!

Just found out that the paint I bought for the kitchen isn't magnolia............it's called vanilla!!!!! Okay it looks to be exactly the same colour, but, technically, it is not magnolia.

You are reminding me of Adam when he talks to Fiona about paint colors not having some kind of standard. Wink

More snow. By the time this one ends, since Dec. 26th, we will have had nearly four feet of snow. Kinda tired of it. Thud
